Fresh updates and five invites for every member

We want Zein to stay a calm, honest place. Here is a short round-up of what has recently got better — and a gift you can use right away.

Five invites for every member

Every member now has five invites to bring people you want to see here. Zein grows through invitations, not open sign-up — so the circle stays small and trusted.

You will find your invites in Settings. Each invite is single-use: enter a name and email and we send an invite link. Invite the people you trust and would want to read here.

Comments got better

Comments are now a conversation: you can reply to others (one level, with a clear „replying to" pointer), edit your own comment, and add emoji.

New: you can also delete your own comment — the button sits on each of your own comments and replies.

Your wall, your rules

If a comment under your own post does not sit right with you, you can now hide it. A hidden comment is no longer visible to anyone but you — you see it dimmed and badged „Hidden", and you can make it visible again whenever you like. It is gentler than blocking a user, since it touches just one comment.

The top-bar search now finds people, topics and posts at once — so you reach what interests you faster.

A calm notifications bell

We added a calm notifications bell: it shows reactions to your own posts (comments and likes). A single small dot marks something new — no numbers, no push, no nagging. Open it when you want to.

Sharing

Every post, story and essay now has a share button — on a phone it opens your device share sheet, on a computer a quiet popover to copy the link or share to common channels.

Calm reading, and happy inviting, Zein
